Version one of a tablet operating system concept. All applications would be maximised (screen 1). The user would switch applications or launch and close them by pressing a home button (taking them to screen two). They could then launch them using the app in the third screen.

Future plans include adding support for notifications and making the bottom screenshot look more like slingshot.

Feedback would be appreciated.

If only we were so blessed. Someday soon we'll have our own mobile platform, I hope. Very crisp, concise mockup- I like where it's going.

I think sliding/swiping the application closed like the Meego N9 would be a much more elegant system.

I'm not familiar with that. I'm also not sure about current gestures support in linux.

those square icons would look nice in Luna, any plans on making a square variant for elementary OS?

I really like the way that the application is integrated with the top panel, looks awesome. Due to the elementary project encouraging AppMenu buttons it makes it a whole lot more touch friendly than Unity with the "global menu". Please keep working with this because it looks so slick and if it had support for regular debian/ubuntu applications it would be beyond my favourite Tablet OS!
